Going to be using a non air bag steering wheel but I do not want my SRS light on in my dash if it will even come on. I'd think it would.

Remove the lower center console, part with the ash tray / cup holders. The airbag ecu is under there, just unplug it and put everything back together.

mkernz22 will the light stay off even with the steering wheel air bag missing? I would still like my passenger side air bag to work if at all possible. I was going to try and figure out which resistor I need to trick the computer.

Dont do it. Not with airbags. You can make one explode and injure someone.

I've seen some kits for other vehicles that come with a plug that turns the light off.

DO not unplug anything from anywhere.

Y ou only need to unplug the driver's airbag and connect a 3.3 Ohm resistor across the 2 terminals in the loom.

Hope this helps,
