Hey 6gc,

I have a 1994 st, manual, I use it as my daily, and hit the local gravel on weekends.

Gravel driving toasted the stock motor mounts in about 3 hours, so I am making new ones out of UHMW Poly, a very resilant polyurathane.

I run a botique fab shop (Valley Rock Mods LLC.) in Gilroy CA, and custom poly bushings and mounts are one of our many offered services.

I will post photos, videos, pricing and reviews here as the testing of these mounts gets underway.

The first set will be for the afore mentioned celica, but I can make sets for any motor/trans.

Feel free to comment with intrests, questions, and suggestions for future products.

Thanks,

Josh

UHMW is around Shore 80A if I remember correctly? There are some other people selling similar poly mounts but all of them are out of the US. It would be nice to have someone making them in the states

You are correct, I would like to be selling mounts for somewhere around 20$ each, ~80$ for the st set, but if enough intrest arises that price will drop to something more competetive. I will have a website with these availble for purchase in about two weeks.

A stateside outlet for bushings would be nice. So far the only ones I can order in states are the sway bar bushings (energy suspension), and the front lca bushings from a guy in Tennessee (they are whiteline). A whole kit would be great though.

X2 on this, this would be a great resource, especially if other bushings were made available.

But since when are LCA bushings available in US? Do you have a link for these? I thought Paul in Poland was the only option.

Front lca bushings. I haven't installed yet, so I can't verify 100% (but on catalog they cross). Since I'm doing a job this weekend, I'll start early and try them on. I'll let you know results and if they work I'll pm you a link. But rather not clutter this thread.

If the increase in vibration is minimal compared to stock. put me down for a set. Would like around 45-55 on the durometer for the tranny and the passenger side motor mount, and whatever else (65-75) for the torque mounts. If color is an option id like some blue ones smile.gif
