Aloha 6gc Family! Today I Went To Renew My 1994 Toyota Celica GT Coupe's Annual Safety Inspection. The Inspector Pulled Into Their Garage And Noticed My Vigourest Shaking From The Engine. He Jacked The Left Front Tire Shock The Wheel And Determined That Shaky Engine Was From Worn Motor Mounts. What Are They For And How Do I Replace Them?

The website called Google is such a handy tool. Look up whatever you want then put 6gc at the end so it directs you to threads in the past that have already been created for any 6gc related issues 😉

Engine mounts are exactly that. they are the supports that hold the engine in your car. 3 of them are on the transmission, and the 4th is on the passenger side of the engine. Like Bonzai said, google and search this site. I have written several threads documenting these mounts

Yep, they have a chunk of rubber in them to absorb the vibration of the motor and transmission.
Front, motor side, transmission side, all three different.
RockAuto.com is your friend. Toyota > 199X > Celica > 1.8/2.2 > engine > motor mount
And like they said you can search the forum for lots of threads on how to put them in.
