id be more than willing to get things rolling, granted i were to own a celica soon again lol i donno, im going to look into a few things, get some thoughts from coomer and some other people im probably going to need some help from, find out what kind of account we need to have made and what kind of records need to be kept and so forth. we'll see what we can do!

is everyone down for this still? if anyone has any place they could go to get good quality screen printing or emroidery done, can you check prices for us possably like hats and Tshirts maybe sweatshirts or hoodies also, just kind of get an overview for it? and also scooby, if you have AIM, id like to talk with you a bit about doing a newsletter if you would like to do that.

I've been thinking of joining a club but there are none in St. Louis. I'd be down, show me where to sign, and give me the price, and I'm in!

Id be up for the club too. Like everyone elses problem is traveling and only being 16, I dont think my parents would like it that much (the traveling part).

obviously as people have been saying, the traveling is a problem... but would you all be interested in joining if it was $30 and say this is what you would recieve if you joined, reguardless if you attend meets or not:
your joining package included:
Club 6GC windshield decals
Club 6GC Member Card
Club 6GC T-Shirt, possably printed with your name or nickname on them
Monthly or bi-monthly newsletter via email OR mail (depending on printing costs, id like to make it an actual mail out newsletter, but whatever works)
possable discounts on parts
possably a Club 6GC members only forum on 6gc.net
potentially showcasing your car on a Club 6GC DVD (doesnt matter if it is stock or not, the idea is about the enthusiast and owner as much it is about the car)

then we could also have for sale:
The Club 6GC Videos
Other novelties such as 6GC coffee mugs, hats, clocks, things of that nature.

Then of course the meets for those who can and would be willing to attend.

well i guess the best thing to do is tally it up, i think the best way to go is do the package as a GB to start off with, that way everyone sends in their money at the same time so we have a good start with that stuff...

realize this will take alot of planning before it gets off the ground otherwise it will fall through, if anyone has any connections to get any of the things i mentioned, or anything else you think would be cool to include let me know. also know that if everyone pitches in 30 bucks... then the sum of the stuff is unforuntaly going to have to be under 30 bucks for the fund to stay above 0... so its time to pinch some pennies and see what we can turn out!

you guys, i hate to be pessamistic but i dont think there is enough support to have a 6gc club. i mean it sounds like there is enthusiasum(sp) but we are too spread out to make it worthwhile.i'm only saying this because the supra show is here in vegas anually and supras have lots of support and are a very popular car, BUT, there were less than 100 cars total which came from all over and were from all 4 generations. keep in mind that it is a full on 4 day deal with a drag day, open track day, show day, and dyno day. well i will finish post later im about to fall a sl.......

Im in, count on me. Ive been wanting to be part of a celica club for a while now. BUT of course most people dont even know what a celica is b4 the 7th gen that is. I guess i was tired of seeing the civic being the CENTER of attention almost everywhere. I'm hoping that if this goes through we can change things around a LITTLE.

For $30.00 Im in......Tim, I looked in to a club called team GMCI and they offered everything you just said and it was 75.00 a year then you had to attended 75% of there meeting or they would kick you out, and depending on what class you wanted you had to pay a one time fee for that( show was 125) and all you got was a t-shirt.
The only good thing about that club was the sponsors!

Would this club have sponsors? Maybe cyberbestbuy.com, where we would get huge discounts if we put there sticker on our cars?

I'd be willing to give the club props whats my shop opens 100%!
