I am going through the process of replacing all the motor mounts because they are original to the car. These are the 5sfe with a manual transmission motor mounts. I have done them all except the driver side one. I am having a hard time getting it out. When I unbolt it the engine does not drop far enough to slide it out. It there a way to replace the driver side motor mount without removing the engine? I can't seem to find a thread about it.

With the other three mounts unbolted and the engine on a hoist, I can normally drop the engine just far enough to slide it out. It takes some wiggling but I can drop the engine just far enough to get it.
