for the coupes, were there more than one type of oem spoiler?

yes, there were 2 kinds on the US coupe.




the first one was available on stx and gt models. while the second came on st models. and I know the second picture is of a curren, but its the same spoiler.

yea thats what i was thinkin...thanks alot gh0st_dog btw, does anyone have the part number for each? i think its 00477-20941 and the other is 76085-20920 i just dont know which is which...someone correct me

i got stx but i got the second one weird

well the stx was a dealer package so the details tend to vary

which one you lookin at getting? the electrodyne one (same one coomer has) is pretty similar to the top one... and its relativley cheap too..

the electrodyne one is more like the stock white one isnt it? im lookin for the top one in red...so i figure try to look into gettin a oem style cheap somewhere online before i go try wings west and buy the mid spoiler

actually, the top is the liftback spoiler from 94-95 thats been retrofitted to the coupe- all coupe spoilers were dealer, not factory installed, seeing that they were accesories... the bottom spoiler wasnt released until the 95 model year also...

so then the 94-95 hatch spoiler can be put on a coupe/conv.?

no. you can buy spoilers MADE for coupe/verts that are the same style as the stock HB ones... they look like the red car on the top. this is my choice for a spoiler right now. only problem is, the only place ive found them is for $400 from wingswest...

The bottom spoiler is found on all GT verts past 97.

and on ealier moddels... i have a 95 coupe with that spoiler...

I've got the wingswest one. I actually attempted to fit a 94-95 hatchback one before I just simply gave up and bought the wingswest spoiler Here it is on mine just for fun:

$179 is no led, i think with led will run maybe $200+....im gonna buy this sometime before mid april, so if u wanna go together to buy em let me know...its like 10 min away from us

Yeah, just lemme figure out when I can go and I'll meet you. I want to see if I like the one with the LED, since my stock one has one already. Do you know if they come painted?

i dont think they would come painted

I've got a silver one I *might* want to get rid of. It needs to be wet-sanded and buffed, then it will be fine. I had it re-cleared and they ran the clear. So it's no problem.

did they lower it!?!?! last time i knew, it was like $400.... damn.... now im definetly gonna get it...
