Found some time to get back at the project again today and I was able to get the first half of the underside cleaned and painted. I also installed the st205 shifter cables, twosrus aluminum shifter bushings as well as the suspension techniques swaybar and poly bushings.

Im not afraid o the superstrut by any means I just dont see where I would really benefit much from spending way more on an honestly problematic suspension system. I am using the GT4 calipers as I already have spent a good bit on rebuilding the calipers and buying a really nice set of EBC redstuff pads and rotors. |

Amazing work, it looks really nice, you'll build a great car. I have the same project in mind, a swap to 3sgte with AWD conversion too, also coming from a 7afe stock. If everything goes well in about 3 months I'll start with it, so hope to continue reading this thread and watching the progression, and getting some ideas for my project. Good luck with the build

Things have been a little busy with work but I should have some time this week to get it at least stripped and started. Good luck with your build and I hope my thread will help you learn from my inevitable mistakes. |
