WOW, I havent checked on your progress in a while, but its looking so good. Those sideskirts are so clean and excellent. You should make a mold and sell it to people outrageously overpriced. Keep up the good work man.

edit: dont go with the vent

LOL well everyone hates it wink.gif NP though I respect all of your opinions.. but I am really leaning towards doing this.. like I said I will wait until both sides are done than then make the final desicion.. I worked on it some more today and have gotten far enuf where I will be able to photoshop an image for you guys now to show you what it would look like when finished.. this will also help me make the final choice.. but it could still go ether way.. if nothing else I make a cool set of scoops and will sell em off biggrin.gif

On with pics.. Got the guage cluster today that doggy made biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Looks pretty darn good wink.gif

Here is the scoop.. got alot of finishing to do on it - didnt have much time to work on it today but will hopefully get this side 90% done tomorrow.. this will have to be finished once its on the car so it might never get fully completed but well see

reinforced the back of the scoop

I will try and get that photoshopped image up sometime today or tonight but well see.. I got a busy day at work.. might get it done before I start work.. well see wink.gif

edit: after looking at this for a few mins.. well I really DON'T like it.. I will still give it the benifit of the doubt and do a couple more closer photoshopped images but think I've changed my mind now frown.gif

I think it'll look really good, especially in the color that you're going to be doing the car in. Vision it like a painted car, and the hole won't appear quite as gaudy, and will actually have a more refined look to it IMO. Like this, a photoshop all in different colors, etc.. doesn't look good, nope, but PAINTED is what you gotta think. Your mind's eye. Etc.

I have to agree. I dont really care for the vent. The 6th gen celica is such a clean looking car and thats probably the best thing about it. The vent just makes it look to busy like someone said before. On a different topic how did you make your needles orange like that? Ive wanted to do silver faced dials or white carbon fiber ones for a while but i dont like white needles on what faces or even silver faces cause it would be hard to see and wouldnt look as sporty.

I think it would look better right on top of the scoop on the side skirt. Sort of some of the NSX kits or like a f355. Do a photoshop of it on top of the sideskirt scoop.

Yea not too sure about that scoop dude.. I think to make that work for show u'd need to do more shaping of the body and scoop so it has a fill or catch area .. hard to describe but if u think aerodynamically and check out this pic u might just get what I'm talking about biggrin.gif

Don't mean to tell u what to do that is just my opinion bro..

i think 2 scoops will mess with the lines of the body. just keep the blitz scoop and dump the one you made. OR you could a a top secret style hood and put the scoops into the hood to suck more heat out.

I love your interior, except you got too many guages going there. U plan on building a race car? Put them in your glove box or something so they arent in yours and everyone driving byes face.

I like my gauges.. and im not gonna put em in the glove cuz I dont see the point of that, I got em to tell me whats goin on with my car while I drive it.. and the car isnt gonna be a show car (will prolly show it but thats not its main purpose) The car is being built for one thing and that is to go as fast as Fuken possible from point A to B.. and of course look good doin it biggrin.gif so im gonna leave that guages there, actually will end up putting a few more in there also wink.gif

Newasyz worked on the rear a little..hehe been workin the rear for a while now biggrin.gif

and I took some photos of the scoop to photoshop with.. it's really hard for me to decided what I want to do confused.gif in pics the scoop looks like ass but in person it looks like it will be awesome, so I still dont know.. I'm leaning towards just leaving it off though even though I want to do it.

Trimmed down scoop

filled in that rear corner here it is primmered.. ran outta bodyfiller so I couldnt get the whole thing smoothed down

worked on the otherside a little bit too.. did the fiberglass on the inside of this section

user posted image

Tomorrow I will be working on my G/F's car.. finally got the correct bodykit for her and where gonna put that on.. will prolly take a couple pics of it, saturday and sunday I will hopefully finish up the rear.. I am thinkin I will use the rear underside off the 5th gen civic buddy club rear that I have but need to take a few measuerments 1st, then after that all I got to do is finish up the pass sideskirt and the pass front and then go threw everything and do all the finishing touches and its off to a bodyshop biggrin.gif biggrin.gif starting to get excited.. might get my car all back together in as soon as 2 months! but knowin my luck it will prolly be another year or two frown.gif
