Yea, good question. Another question is, with all this engine work and having 150-160, is that including CIA (or intake period) and exhaust, or is that just pure engine power?? And then if you were to turbo it, about how much estimated HP Gain would it have?? I'm on the market for a GT, but if it's cheaper for me to rebuild the 7a then I might just go ahead and do that, seeing as how I think I might only be able to sell my ST for like 2800 and would have to save up 2-3k for a GT anyway.

i would just rebuild your engine and add a turbo

well as long as he aint updating, and we talk with him all the time i will update for him...

Everything is back together, but there was problems with the Clutch. So now engine is sitting quatly waiting for clutch to arive and Edo is out for vacations...


Im waiting too then he is going to start that beast, to hear from him about results smile.gif

I had a problem with the clutch cause I got a wrong item frown.gif
So I have bought a new ACT Xtreme with street race disc and it should arrive home this week.

hey I'm looking to do basically the same thing. Does anyone know were I can get custom connecting rods made or anything. I wanna make the engine bullet proof before I turbo, and the list is almost complete. Then I just need to the reasearch and wait for the big truck of cash to come in the spring.

did you go up on the valve size? cut the valve seats bigger? and if so where did you get your valves, or do you have a part#,or where i can find this out the machine shop that is doing my head doesn't know how big i can go.

I need INFO where is he?????????? hahaha anyways i need to find out aobut how much its costing him to do all this to his engine so i can decied wether to go with this or getting some kind of other engine and beefing that up. Also if i should switch to a 5speed tranny or not.

he is on vacation in france. Dont know exactly then he gonna come back, but i know the price how much this thing costed him... it about 1600 euros, about 2000$ just for all the stuff done to his motor head and block and pistons and etc. it lots of money, but in the end i think this was worth it.

Hey what else can be done in the engine. Here is one question. One of the people earlier in the post said the rods would be a week spot. Were can I get custom rods made?

Also

Did he do most of the work or did he have a mechanic do it?(This may be an idiotic question since their are pics of the engine apart ,but what the hell I might as well ask.)

And What else can be done to the internals if anything? (

(Sorry for all the questions going to do similar setup and I am new and not to familiar with the internals.)

If ya going with similar setup, make sure you get Forged Pistons, and forged RODS (especially RODS, cuz they are so week). After that, go with better bearing, balance and lighten crank, lighter flywheel, get the pulleys setup.

As for the head, go with P&P, match all the ports, get more agresive cams (as i know the cams have lower profile on US 7A then euro 7A, cuz Edo just checked this cuz hes got a USDM 7A head.)

And about the works, most of the work was done by the shop.

hi everyone! I just came back from holidays and tomorrow the air traffic is waiting for my radar skill biggrin.gif
Anyway...I won't be at home till friday so be patient.tomorrow the ACT clutch should arrive here. My mechanic will be back from holidays only the 30th august so I have to wait to complete the thing.... frown.gif frown.gif frown.gif
As I'll have again my engine in, I'll need immediatly a good ECU tuning cause os the major mods like head and pistons....
to everyone who's thinkin' to get 4ag pistons I just tell them that with those pistons (and 82mm bore) I have 11.06 CR.... wink.gif
I hope that everything will work!!! I'll keep you updated!!! biggrin.gif

Hi guys, sorry for long wait....my car is finally finished it will be started next week....I've had so many problems and also I'm always in Roma so I've just weekends to work on it....
