Just ocurred to me that "if" I was just passing through the 6gc website and
got hooked on the idea of buying one (and having no previous knowledge
of the car), how useful it would be to have a page dedicated to buying a celi and what to look out for. You know typical checks, all the usual stock problems
that occur with our celi's, that way you don't end up with a car more broke
than yourself.
Second Idea- a fault page with categories relating to our cars, engine/transmission/
electrics etc. When one of us has a fault and manages to sort it out we log on
go to the appropriate category, enter the fault and what we did to cure it.
We build up a database of faults and cures !
If enough of us contribute all the faults/problems we had in the past and the cures
we'll have a pretty impressive fault database.
The current method of searching past posts is just to long winded!!
Let me know what you think and hopefully Coomer will come back with some
feedback on this

IMO perhaps a problems sticky would work, but IDK about a page, or sub-forum. With the buying, maybe a How-To? Only thing I have to say about this is, again; how many problems do the Celicas get specifically?

I think your second idea especially is a good one. I've had a few times in which other people had the same problem as me and nobody seemed to know how to fix it.

I really like the second problem. That's one feature I would think is a good one.
