Silverstars are nice, and you can get them almost anywhere for $37.

go to advance auto and get 2 sylvania silverstars. They are great and advance auto has it for buy 1 get 1 half off. So I got both of mine for 29.98+tax which came to 32.07. And plus you get a 5 dollar mail in rebate so it will be cheaper.

I think checkers or kragen also offer the same deal, not 100% sure tho.

As for install, it took me like 1 minute on each bulb. Reach down to where the bulb is and twist it too the left and it should come loose about 1/5 of a turn and pull the bulb out. Disconnect the bulb and replace it with the new one. Then place it back it and twist it in. Piece of cake.

Theres no wrong answer to his question. Hes looking for suggestions dude. Lol

On the other hand I think I will check out that Advanced AP deal. I bought my low beams for the celica for like 40 bucks and I love them...but for 25 after rebate I think I want them for my other car too, and maybe if im really generous and want to spoil the Celica then Ill do the Hi Beams too...but I dont think I will because you dont have your high beams on for style haha. On the other hand they light up the road like crazy.

Is that half off deal at advance just for the lows?

I think the deal ended Jan. 1st at Advance.

On the Nokya's which ones do I need to get for my Celica? They don't have lists of which models work with which cars. I also should get a set for my gf's Nissan.

Edit:
Found an auction that was for the Celica:

Next Level Motoring is where I got my GReddy SP as it were. smile.gif

9005 and 9006's are what Celicas use.

Thanks. I went ahead and called NL Motoring direct. Got both the 9005 and 9006's for my Celica and the highs, lows and foglights for her Altima.

Could be. There obviously not as bright as HID, but they are above average. For the purpose of stock 6th generation celica bulbs, they are brighter.

Silverstars; and dont buy anything that says hyper white, what they're talking about is really blue, color temp of around 5800 degrees- basically sunlight. But it's blue. You want WHITE smile.gif Which should be around 5000.. but no one in the headlight industry except PIAA or Sylvania knows wtf color temp is; so good luck finding matchign turn signals etc

I think the buy 1 get 1 half off deal at Advance is still going on.

On my rebate slip it says buy any 2 sylvania, cool blue, or XtraVision headlight bulbs between 10/01/04 and 03/31/05 and get the 5 dollar mail in rebate. But It could just be for the mail in rebate, not sure. I'll check tomorrow when I go dispose my oil.

And as for the blue tint from an angle, mine is a purple tint.

And I did not think they were a waste of money. I highly recommend them. 4000K temp.
