Yea man all you got to do is go to your local car parts store and check out their cross reference book or now they even have touchpad electronic catalogs that tell you what you need for low and hi. It also tells you about what bulbs you need for turn signals, side markers, dome lights, tail lights, etc etc......

As for brand if your looking for that hot purpleish look get Sylvania Silverstars at Advanced Auto Parts biggrin.gif

silverstars are white...really white. they only have the slightest blue tint when you look at them from an angle.

If you look one post further down from Dro's you'll also see why choosing a headlight from a picture is a bad idea.

i went and bought some silverstars yesterday.. they are really really white.. they look nice but now i need to replace my turn signals and sidemarker lights with something just as white.. any reccomendations as to where i could find some 1157 and 94 lights that would be just as white as the silverstars....

i also saw that silverstar has turn signals that are blue when off and turn yellow when on.. anybody know the law in cali.. are white turn signals legal.. what about white sidemarkers?

let me know (i feel special.. my first post on here biggrin.gif )

Hey Chris, congrats on your first post here. White turn signals are in fact legal. White sidemarkers are not legal. Thats kinda weird, because some sidemarkers come white from the factory, but NO turn signal comes white from the factory.. so.. go figure.

As for turn signals being white.. I haven't found one yet, I'm sure PIAA has one or two because I found a PIAA bulb that almost matches perfectly (it's a little blue frown.gif but not much)

PIAA's star white matches almost perfectly; their extreme white goes into the blue. But PIAA makes a type 168 wedge bulb that fits in our sidemarkers and matches silverstars great (star white) . I think the model number is 19172
