 Hookin up 2 jl 12w7's ?????, need the best way to hook them up |

OK, to all the car stereo geniuses,
I got myself 2 jl audio 12w7's.  I need an amp to push them. The problem is the subs are 3 ohms a piece. I know if you hook them up a certain way you can drop the ohms. Which way is it? Would it drop it to 1.5 ohms?Im looking at getting an audiobahn a1500hct amp, it has 2000 watts @ 1 ohm 1000 watts @ 2 ohm 500 watts @ 4 ohm It is a high current flow amp also. Will that automatically detect the ohms that the subs are running? And if it does, would it make it run at 1500 watts since its in the middle of 1 and 2 ohms? Any help would be highly appreciated. Also, im currently in kuwait finishing my year term being deployed. Otherwise if i was home id go to a local installer and ask. Thanks alot to all that reply. -------------------- 94 celica GT
