Hey guys my exhaust is all original 100k old... Im planning on putting a brand new exhaust for this spring. Heres what i need (i believe - tell me if I miss anything):

Header: Pacesetter 2.0L/3SFE 86-89 Celica GT(155$ on ebay)
Downpipe: custom (??? $)
Highflow catalytic converter : (100$)
Mid-pipe and catback: custom (??? $)
Muffler: ???

I know alot of you have custom exhausts but how much does it cost
and what size do you recommend?

Also what muffler do you recommend; i want something that looks
and sounds a little bit like the stock one I got (smooth and deep sound)

I heard good things about the flowmaster series I think...
What are my options and where should i buy?

Thanks for your input

i have the greddy sp exhaust system. i love it and ill possibly be selling it in the summer. you should get a nice high flow cat convertor also. and you can definitley go for a nice custom downpipe. any metal shop or muffler shop should be able to do it. watch out for emmisions in your area also, might not be able to pass inspection. but just throw your mechanic a benjaman and you should be fine tongue.gif

Yeah i know the greddy sounds good and is top quality but it was selling for 450$ thats kinda expensive. Ill probably go with a custom stainless steel exhaust but i don't know what size (2, 2.25, 2.5 ???). I also want to know *which* exhaust tip buy? What do you recommend??

Hotshot header, and then full custom with no cat, go under rear supension, and use a megan racing muffler. This whole thing would cost about, 600-700. And you'd have a freaking awsome system.

I use a powerflow system from the manifold straight out 5” all the way with no CAT. I have twin dual ovals giving me four nice pipes at the rear. Runs like a dream with two K&N filters (see pic)
