ive heard people doing transmission conversions...but it seems like a hell of a lot of work
if anyone's done this, can u post some info about it

it has been done, but most people had a shop do it, i think. if you do the work yourself, like 800-900, shop will be about 1500.

I got an idea for you, Bong. If you are looking to get a manual and you have the extra cash, why don't you sell your automatic, you should get a decent amount for it, and then buy you a manual instead of doing the swap. It'll only cause you a headache if you try to convert it.
