Sorry to change the subject.. But on the quickshifter kits, does the shifter shaft come up straight, or is it bent slightly like the OEM shifters?

go with a twm. It's 20% shorter then trd's

92 Civic hatch B16 - Sold
10th anniv RX-7 - RIP
The Slow Celica - Sold...and then crushed crushed due to street racing.

I think he meant his left.. Either that, or the OEM shifter is shorter. tongue.gif

mine did that too but it losened up after a while. I think it had something to do with the grease and how much was in it. Over time i think the exess moves/squeezes out till it gets the right amount. I duno lol i jsut know it got smoother. man im tired

BTW

If ur stock shifter boot is to long and flaping over itself jsut un do the glue holding it on to the washer peice that goes over the shaft/shifter and pull it farther through the hole so that way the boot becomes shorter. This makes it look a little cleaner and also ensures that ur leather boot wont crease as much thus leading to cracks. Just make sure you fold the part around the washer in a nice pattern so when it merges/rest up against the shifter knob everthing looks in order.

Its actually a trip to see the oem height. man was that thing hi. The only thing now is i cant put my cell phone in that place infront of the knob or else my fingers will hit it. O well

Is it more so in 2nd 4th an R ?? Cause thats what happend to mine when i instaled my "lancer" one. what you need to do is cut the two plastic bars underneth the right shift cable.

i ran the group buy on TWM
its worth every penny and STILL CHEAPER then TRD

just think

TWM =60% less shifting and min 20$ cheaper then TRD
TRD=40% less shifting and cost MORE then TWM

GO TWM!
