I would also make sure that whoever the distributer is (Nopi, etc.) will be getting us the new updated models, and not their stock of old, pre-correction models that rub badly. wink.gif

I might be in, depending on whether or not my engine needs $$ put in to it or not. rolleyes.gif

im not sure about all of you
but i'm curious if Bulletproof automotive would run us a deal on the C-Ones
i mean the ST's are more common, and the c-ones..well c-one

i think they were just over $300 on our forums, and since one of the guys there use to sell to celicas and wrx's only, maybe we'll get lucky?

i dont know what happened in the end of his career on the forums, but i do remember it being somewhat bad...

i already called and got prices and info
the cost of this GB X's two is C-One style tongue.gif
you can pay credit card or w/e...just not paypal
and turn around time is 6-12weeks...
i figure there wont be much interest in these, so i didn't bother posting full prices, but DMC can get cheaper for what i was able to get w/ Roo

Wait, wait, let's not get off track here. The c-ones are at least $100 more than the ST bars, but are probably a little stiffer. For a daily driver, the ST bars are 24mm up front and 22mm rear, compared to the stock GT bars of 19mm front, 17mm rear. This should give you much less understeer and body roll, without the back-end becoming too "taily" (wanting to come around).

So do we have finalized pricing with shipping on the ST sway bar set for this GB?

edit: added "GT Bars of"

the C-Ones are $225 PER SIDE...
DMC can get them both for $388 +shipping, which is about $40.
apparently the rear sway bar makes the big difference, so maybe C-One Rear($225+shipping) and ST Front($140?)

Edit: changed strut to sway...woops

thx for the catch Jay.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Not if there's no appreciable difference in the size of the bars and/or the length of the leverage arms. Remember, the ST rear bars have two settings (two sets of end-link holes) - normal and stiffer.
