I was reading more about things to throw on the 4AGZE, and something along TRD 272 Cams? It was mentioned a few times, but nothing more. I couldn't find anything specifically. Also, I read something about an ABV (Air Blowoff Valve) for the Supercharger. Again, I couldn't find anything detailed about it, but just was mentioned that it works kind of similar to a BOV for a Turbo. Any ideas? I can't find anything else on these two things. Apparently a guy added these Cams and this ABV to his 4AGZE and dyno'd 200HP, and he actually showed these Dyno sheets.

So you actually have the engine in your car and running now? It sounds like it from your profile and sig. smile.gif

Anyway, I think that all of the 4A-GZE engines had the air blowoff valve, but I'm not sure on that.

Not in yet, my exterior is getting finished. The engine is sitting at my mechanic's garage at his house. I've just been searching and searching for things to do to the engine to make it faster, tweek the hell out of it as much as I can. I've got most everything I need sitting at his house already, the pulley, fmic, intake (which I dunno if its going to work or not). I'm so hype, its crazy. Ditched my current exhaust setup, got a whole new ****load of toys to put on. YAYYY!

you don't want cams higher than 256 on the 4agze... higher than that and the idle will be awful... i mean like, rough, unpleasant, you name it. TRD cams aren't available any more, but you could get HKS, Toda, or others.

With the 4agze and the transmission out of a front clip corolla, will the trans bolt right in place of the old 7afe one , or does it need custom axles? Also will the wiring harness be somewhat similar to the celicas? If i buy a front 4agze clip out of a front wheel drive corolla, what things will i need that wouldnt come with the clip?

the axles in the clip should work, if they don't, your ST ones should be fine. the tranny will bolt right up. it will be better, because it was designed to work with the 4agze. wiring, well, it will be about the same level of complexity as putting a 3sgte in a GT. if you get a clip, you should have everything you need.

and in japan, it's not a corolla, it's a levin.
