if you're too lazy to undo one bolt to drain your oil then you have problems I guess. I can see that valve being a problem if you drive in offroad conditions where something may catch on the undercarriage and open that valve up (that would end up being my luck at least).
I figure just stick with the whole bolt thing. Unless you have a stupid Sunfire like my fiance does, I almost pulled the car off the jack and on top of me trying to torque the bolt off of the oil pan it was on so tight -------------------- 1999 Celica GT

I'm kind of thinking the same way, I think its a good idea, just not sure if its practical. I also wondered about the ground clearance, but apparently no one has any prior knowledge of it.
