Well, I will just get to the point. Can the Brembo Gran Turismo Brake system for the ST205 work, or be adapted to work on a ST204?

No they will not fit. The st205 brakes differ greatly from the 204. However, according to speedtoe169, any big brake kit for the 7th gen celica will fit becasue the calipers and the rotors bolt in at the same places.

how are the ST205 brakes different, and are you sure about the 7th Gen brake kits?

most "Big Brake" kits are around 2k.. guess you dont really need em or anything, but they look so nice! and increased stopping power is always a good thing, although the stock GT brakes are pretty good.

Can anyone explain the ST205 differences, and also confirm the 7th gen fitment?

I think that the fact that the ST205 uses the Super Strut suspension system is part of why you'd have a hard time fitting the Brembo big-brake kit on your ST204.

The cheapest I've ever seen the kit is $2300. I don't know what kind of guarantee you want that the 7th gen kit fits. I've had the 6th and 7th gen spindles, calipers, and rotors next to eachother and swapped them back and forth. I see absolutely no reason why it wouldn't work. You might have to adapt the lines, but I doubt it. Even if you did, thats a pretty small thing.

The GT4 spindles are completely different from what I've heard. I know of only one person that has had posession of both (mike - qatar11) and he says that they are not compatable.

Actually you can use ST205 4 pot caliper to fit ST204. The bolt pattern is same but the front disc of ST205 which is 315 mm need to be removed to 300 mm to fit ST204.

If the brembo grantorismo kit is specifically to ST205 then it would fit ST204 but the bracket need to be reproduced anyway. I am also looking to get F50 brembo or Endless to fit my ST204 too. smile.gif

Just putting the calipers on would be worth the effort. Would there need to be changes in the mastercylinder? I would assume 4 piston brakes take my fluid to close than a single piston. I can't believe I have single piston brakes. I'd like to see pictures and measurements of each caliper side by side with measurements and what not to know exactly how to change them out. Nampetch, I know you don't post much, but I would be extremely greatful if you would post your experiance when you decide to do this to your car.
