Should I buy it or not?

I like the way it looks and the way it lights... My main question is this..

Do you think it will last and be worth the purchas?

IMO Stock is best. If anything change your 194 bulbs to LEDs.

I hope you're kidding, and don't actually think TRD makes indiglo gauges for the Celica. If you've seen them, they are probably SpeedHut custom gauges.

Unless there's been some breakthrough in LED technology, or something that someone has come up with here (as i don't feel like searching, and i've not heard of anything), LEDs cause spotting in the Celica gauges, because of the odd placement of the bulbs. I'm sure with some kind of custom work, it can be done, but unless it's some new LED bulb technology, it wouldn't be plug and go.

My personal opinion, and suggestion, is that you like the gauges. Therefore, you should get them. My suggestion on top of that, is to get 3 red 194 bulbs, to replace the stock gauge bulbs, so that the needles will shine red, on top of the blue/red lit gauges. I had this in my car at one time, and at night, it looks quite nice. I say go with em man.

Enigma - these are the exact ones o0black0o and I were telling you about in PM's. They installed easy and sem to work great about a month later. We don't have anymore experience witht htem than that but I can say this - they are way more visible than my LED bulbs which really only light up the needles and slightly on the numbers of my gauges. If you like blue or green - this is the way to go. They look great installed. That buy it now price is $1 cheaper than what I paid too. Mine were $40 after slow shipping so I say go for it.

I did a quick search. Looks like this has already been covered.

aaahhhhh, so there is some new LED technology to address this issue. but yeah, some indiglos look cheap, but if the person buying them likes them, go them. i had the black-faced reverse gauges, and i thought they were hawt.

but yeah, all i have now, is i replaced the stock bulbs, with some normal well-coated green 194s, so i get a much deeper green, that matches my alpine head unit. mmmm.

Yes, you can get LEDs to to spread the light properly. They are called refractor LEDs. I have them in my gauges, and look great, they also match all my other interior lights that are blue.

The link that chanh provides also shows another non-LED option, they are called Polarg bulbs, but they do come at a price.

Well I was origonally going to get some Polarg bulbs and a White Face for my gauge, but I couldn't find any white faces except for the Glow gauges..

If I had it my way, I'd get white gauges that look like the stock, but they'd be white, and get Polarg bulbs, but I can't find gauges like that anywhere..

At his suggestion, I got a set of Blue Refractor LEDS ( http://www.vleds.com/ or ebay ), and I am VERY impressed. I will try and post a picture of my gauges later, if i can

here is a set on ebay:

...you'd need to but 2 sets b/c you need 3 LEDs.

Yeah I'll probably get them, so when I do, and once they are installed, I'll take some pics and let you know the details of them and how decent they are, if they are..

Another thing you can do is make white gauges, we had that one dude awhile back making pictured covers for the guages, and he just used some kinda transparent paper and laid it on top, maybe yuo could do this same thing but with white guages... It'd be a lot of work, but would look pretty cool and be totally custom. Either way, i think the stock option is your best bet. Just thought id throw out hte suggestion.
