I have a question about my antenna....A little while ago my antenna broke causing it to make an annoying noise when i either start my car or switch to am/fm...i was just wondering if anyone knew how to stop the noise somehow? smile.gif

When you say broke, do you mean it broke off or just stopped going up and down?

Well both...it broke and half and it wont go up and down. I slid the remander of the anntenna down so it wont be noticable but it still makes the noise.

unhook the power plug off the antenna base

mine makes a weird noise too.... but it still goes up and down... I dunno what the deal is with it either...

bend the left trunk plastic piece out of your way and you can gain access to it.

its a clip..not the thick black wire thats the antenna

there are actually 2 plugs if i remember right (which i prolly dont since i havent looked at it for over a year) but it's just the big white one, unplug that and it will not activate anymore or make the sound.
