I wouldn't want someone like that to be a citizen of the US, especially after abandoning a child, I could care less where they're from or what ethnicity they are. This isnt something new tho. This happens alot. Women get pregnant and hide it from their family (not sure if she hid it from the family) then have the baby and drop it off somewhere or do something like this girl did.
Personally if you cant accept responsibilty for your actions then you shouldnt be having sex. -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

This just goes to show how much we need to make information like these hospital programs more widely known. I just found out that most states in the US have this policy, but I'm still trying to find out if the hospital on my island has it.
I really think that if a law like this is effective, then it should be taught along with sex ed. AND...because these things usually occur in low-income families (where the mothers cannot afford to keep the child)...efforts should be made to notify residents of lower-class neighborhoods that these laws do exist, and that there are clinics where you can get free/cheap birth control... ...and that you can prevent yourself from walking around pregnant for 9 months...at least spare yourself that trouble, if not the horror of leaving a newborn for dead in a garbage bag. --------------------  "I bet you drive a standard."
