works great on Russiankid's MR2T! Had it at least a year and no cracks etc. Flows way better too but man is it a b*tch to change the oil. As if everything wasn't waaaaay harder on an MR2 as it is LOL.

XS POWER = SS AUTOCHROME = POS.

their 3" DP are cheaply made and cracks. if you get it. you'll have to reinforce the welds and weld like a steel web thingy.

Every single person that has had an ssac dp on an all trac or any other 3sgte powered car that I know has been very impressedwith bothe the fittment and build. That includes the black awd gt-four converted st204. They hold up remarkably well for being so cheap. But any other product ssac makes besides the 3sgte dp seems to be junk. 80gbp for a 3in dp?!! insanity! I payed 330usd for my aussie, and the heat coating is flaking off... When it all comes down to it, its just a dang 3in tube for exhaust to go through. As long as it doesent crack, i would say hells yea!

You could probably get away with not resetting the ecu, but if you want to its a blue 15a minifuse in the engine compartment fuse box. You should be able to figure out which one it is by looking at the diagram on the back of the fusebox cover. or just disconnect the negative battery cable. Installation of the dp is kind of a pain in the ass.. Mostly getting the stupid heavy stock one off, but besides that its not really bad, only time consuming

Ive had mine for about 9 months now. So far so good. I think that as long as you put a flex pipe on the piping after the DP you should be ok. I didnt reiforce the welds. Altough i would recomend getting better gaskets than the ones that come with the kit, one you unbolt them once they are useless.

The truth about ssac/xs/or any other downpipe for under 100$:

- It is not stainless, it is stainless plated. That means it will not look shiny at all after some driving around and it can corrode rather easly - i painted mine with VHT ceramic header paint that you can buy at autozone.

- Welding quality can and will differ, and they wont let you return poorly welded downpipe. If your lucky chances are you got a good one from a good batch and it will last - i had a welder reinforce mine with a spider net just for peace of mind reasons.

- Gaskets included in the package are crappy, gotta get real steel gaskets.

- Wastegate clerance issue is quite frequent - make sure you gasket match the flange and reasure that there is no flange sticking out past the gasket (on the inside of course). Grind off any excess.

- Alignment in my situation was really bad - probably the worst part about cheap downpipes, i had to make a 0.5" spacer to connect the downpipe to my flexi.

- Make sure you get the support bracked - i had to buy mine from KO racing because ssac wouldn't send me one. Also make sure you use it otherwise it WILL crack.

- block-off screws for sensors come out while driving make sure you tighten them
- in some cases it gets in the way of intercooler piping - it did in my case.

I have a gen2 xs power downpipe on my gen3 - you have to skip one stud but it wont leak. The bigger problem is the alignment with rest of exhaust piping.

Any updates on these XS power headers and dump pipes? Im considering buying both. Does the tubular manifold really make that big of a hp increase? Or should I just remove the cat. and get the dump pipe only? Any opinions would be appriciated. Thanks
