Hi

I brought some white instrument gauges for my speedo/rev counter am going to give a mate the instrument cluster to put them in.

But i was wondering if there are any negative effects on the car from not having the instrument pannel connected, as i really need my car for work but want the gauges put in NOW ?

e.g. the ecu not getting all the right measuements or the altinator not charging the battery (i work in the country )
I reaslise i might get a ticket and all that but just wanna know if it'll be bad for the car
