 I was wondering what is the size of the exhaust piping that leads up to the muffler on a 94 gt hatch? 2.5 inches? 2.25? Thanx

it's probaby 2" at most..i know the ST is about 1.75

i'm sure the the numbers posted are correct. anything bigger stock is on more powerful cars

it is infact 2" stock. i have replaced mine with 2.5" piping and love it.

I have a 94 Gt and the exast piping is right under 2" most of the way, but right before the muffler, the dang thing tapers down to like 1 to 1.25 inches.

the st's stock exhaust size is 2" as well. i know because i just took off my cat and i measured. i am putting on a custom straight pipe. no more cat for me
