most of the new stuff sucks...there a few good ones but the best is the old school hip hop. Run-DMC, Whodini, Slick Rick, Dougie Fresh, Grandmaster Flash...etc. Thats what i listen to.

good taste... the only new guy i like is lupe, and hes actually pretty amazing when it comes down to his lyrics. hes got some real nice mixtapes too. i listen to nas the most though probably. also, biggie, big l, jay, tupac, krs one, rakim (and eric b), wu tang as a collective and all of them individually too, az, common, a tribe called quest, de la soul, slick rick, cunninlynguists, nwa, most def, talib... but yea, new **** on tv give hip hop a bad rep

http://youtube.com/watch?v=HS8mcuc84qc&...ted&search= check this video if you havent seen it already... classic - rakim, krs-one, nas, kanye : they made if for the song for the 25th anniversary of the air force one

i like some of it. mainly the stuff that actually has meaning, not the ridin rims, and money, and slappin a ho. thats just not right, bu tlike eminem and nelly's Suit album that come from mostly real experiences with family and a hard beat!

i only like candian and british rap and hip-hop...aka The Street, Lady Sovering, Swollen Members, Sweatshop union, Code name scorpion, moka only, Classified. I like them because they arent like traditonal rap and hiphop. They sing about real life stuff and they also use really different beats than tradtional stuff. like for example
The Streets - Blinded by the lights
Classified - All About you
Classified - The Maritimes

I like class cuz hes just some kid from a small town like 20 KM away from Halifax

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

yea thats a sick song... i get kinda sick of immortal technique though. hes far too political for me, and he has way too many conspiracy theories. plus, his lyrics are just flat out gross some of the time. but when he just tells stories and stuff, like dance with the devil, i like that side of him a lot. revolutionary vol 1 and 2 damn good albums IMO, and thats kinda saying a lot since i don't really dig his style most of the time

but if youre a real hip hop head, especially from the old school, and you got 50 minutes to kill...

the history of hip hop, in order... 800 tracks in 48 minutes. should bring back some good memories
