ok thanks i appreciate every1s input. Its not a hard thing to change so if it does for some reason stop my performance or anything i can just turn it to be flat no probs their. Im just happy thats the car is done and doc did a great job geting it done. Seeing that the wiring was horrible shape and so was the whole car when he got it.

they don't call me angry mike for nothing.

i'm trying to keep a customer happy, so i'm obviously going to defend my work.

it made decent numbers even with the maf on its side. what do you know, it worked.

No dude, no. It would have made at least 97.3 more horsepower if it was mounted flat. Plus, the dyno is dirty, so the numbers are probably off. biggrin.gif

we were trying to tell you about the problems with throttle response at part throttle driving. at WOT it will read the same regardless of where its mounted.

12 psi is stock boost. so i'm sure it'll be well over 200 whp if you turn up the boost.

all you need is to have your tvsv hooked back up and youll get stock boost. on the 3sgte 8psi is considered "low boost mode". 10-12psi is stock boost.

2nd Gen motor right? Don't forget you are looking at WHP numbers - not BHP. Plus being at 8PSI. You got alot more power in there. Trust me - half the fun is turning up the boost - just don't get stupid with it.

BTW Tweak - If a car ever jumps off you're dyno someone on the other side of that fence is gonna be pissed LOl. I assume you are adding a building around it in the near future?

Around 17psi is what I've seen. Get a good boost controller and get yourself up to 12PSI then have fun. When you can't stand the urge any longer and you know you're drivetrain is solid - turn it up to 15PSI. I'd stay there until you upgrade a few things but that's just me. I like to leave a little safety room so I tend to be conservative. My MR2 friends don't listen to me and go through motors fairly quickly.
