well...slap me and call me susan...but, i think she may hve been kidding.

and, mustangs camaros and the like aren't to be ****ed with if done properly.

they can be straight up monsters.

but, i wouldn't neccessarily say that "class" is defined by italian cars per se.

i think that the Deutchsland auto market takes the cake on class.

italy's cars are just...insane. hahaha.

A Firebird Trans Am and put a supercharger or turbocharge on it...
Or a Chevy Camaro and do the same to it...
or a Stupid Mustang and do the same to it...

Why because at least with them, there is a richness and classy demeanor about them, not like a 6gc that in my honest opinion sucks, okay See yah later...

Mica in classy mode...

Just the other day in another forum you were saying that your auto ST was beating Vettes and Vipers and turboed Trans Ams. Now you're saying your ST sucks. You don't even know what you're saying. I demand a five second rule on you: think about something for five seconds before you write it. Domestic cars aren't classy, either. They're cheap, and a dime a dozen. They're fast, but not classy. Mustangs and Camaros should come with a free wifebeater, dew rag, and barbed wire tattoo.

Yea, lets not go crazy here people. My brother has a 2002 trans. It's his A-B transport. Domestics are ok cars if you are into that kind of thing. But Celicas and Hondas and other cars are good as well. It's all about what you are into. The only time there is a problem is when people of one group start bashing people of the other. wait wat...stupid people start the bashing. Sorry, had to correct that.

next car? difficult one that... I hope to keep my gen 6 for as long as possible. I've never had a car so reliable thats also quick and still looks great.
None of the new car designs around take my fancy - too angular including the new celica. Curves rule!
Funnily enough, I really like some of the US domestics I see. They are so rare in the UK that they would stand out from the usual.

That is the greatest thing I've heard.

In Australia it has the option of a V6 with NOS and body kit. Not sure if has a turbo in it too? confused.gif

Nissan 300zx twin turbo is near the top of my list. Closest thing I can come up with for the 'poor man's supra'

Don't go knocking Z's, the Supra I feel is overated and priced. But it could be cause I drive a Z. smile.gif

Has that white car in the dark got a Turbo K2_Celica? biggrin.gif

At the moment that's all I can think of my 300ZX and it's Turbo's.

Oh, I'm not knocking the Z, it's a great car... but I'm biased too.

I think Toyota makes some of the highest quality cars out there. On a reliability scale, Nissan is probably in the top 5.. but Toyota is number 1. The design of the MKIV Supra was so far ahead of it's time.. I still think it's damn sexy... but unfortunatly, as you said, the Supra is crazy expensive. I keep waiting for them to come down, but it never happens... patience is running out.

Why does everyone think that Supras are so expensive? You can get a 93 for less than a new car. Well yeah, sure, $13k - 18k is a lot for an old car like that, but it's worth it.

Z32s have a lot of problems - but thats because they're 12 year old cars. Most of the problems I hear are with turbos going out, but thats only because they have 100,000+ miles on it. You could expect that the same with a 93 Supra running the stock turbos (not that anyone has them nowadays...).

Aus I think the 96 TT Supra for £9k has to be an auto? Sounds too cheap for a manual.

Over here they are everywhere are go for around $25k-$40k AUD = £10.5k-£18.
