On the 7AFE are the electric fans supposed to run all the time? My '95 had a cracked radiator and I'm thinking the previous owner might have directly wired them to run all the time...

There is a temperature sensor that the ECU monitors and kicks the fans on and off (and possibly between low and hi) based on that temp as well whether or not the A/C is on -------------------- -Mike

hmm.. so it could be a bad temp sensor eh? I need to pick up a repair manual I think... I also have a servo bad/unhooked that won't let me change the vent settings for a/c or heat.
So I could pick up one of those thermostatic switch kits and just have the fans run by that right? The ECU wouldn't mind would it? ![]() -------------------- Dan

yeah I don't mind it on the interstate but at stoplights it's pretty annoying... So I've been poking around the site and heard a few mentions of the ST not having a fan thermostat on some cars. Maybe I'm one if the "lucky" ones without one lol. Needless to say on payday I'm getting a therrmostatic switch
