Nice job Blitzing Tom the whole game... they probably thought that he has limited mobility due to the fact that he strained his ankle 2 weeks ago. Congrats G.

major congrats to the Giants. They outplayed the Pats in the entire game. Brady wasn't sharp enough and Eli made the big throws when it mattered the most.

The Giants D was better than I could have possibly imagined.

NE Pats, epic fail.
NY Giants, congrats.

Congrats to the Giants, they absolutely played the better game. Pats did not deserve to win that game at all. Way to many mistakes and they played with virtually no heart. Congrats once again. But i feel like my heart has been torn out, 18-0, just to blow it at the end....this sucks.

laugh.gif This is how you can tell the difference between mature, respectable people (Dustin) and sore losers (you).

It's still such a shocker. The Pats were being projected as being in the Superbowl 1/2 way through the season and to play as well as they did all year, the EPIC game they had vs. the Giants in that last game of the season and then for the Giants to start 0-2, to win almost all of their road games; to redeem themselves against Dallas, redeem themselves in an OT win in Green Bay and to defeat an 18-0 team is just... monumental. Historic, memorable and you can not have anything but respect for this club.

For those not in NY, the NY media rips people apart and all season it's "is Eli as good as Peyton" and it was always no no no he's not Peyton, Coughlin isn't doing his job, Coughlin should be fired (1/2 way season) and now what - Eli starting QB 3 1/2 yrs ago as a rookie is Superbowl MVP one year after his brother is Superbowl MVP 8 years after his first season is just going to close the book on all of this.

And what I love is that this was the big F-U to Tiki Barber. He retires - talks smack about Eli & Coughlin and then we win the Superbowl. What's better is we took out Tampa Bay (his brothers team) and it's such a great big middle finger to him.

Tell ya what though, Wes Welker - wow. He's fast and always getting the ball. So annoying LOL.

One of the greatest superbowls ever and one of the greatest underdog victories in NFL history I'm ecstatic if you can't tell. biggrin.gif I'm very happy for Strahan to finally get a championship ring he's an amazing player and definitely hall of fame and it's great to go out on top like this and wow, just wow.

With the way the teams played, it was amazing it was as close as it was. Fun game to watch for such a low score.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

thats true about the mvp stuff... but again, i dont think victories come from single players, but from teams. i think they should get rid of the mvp awards... eli would be nothing without a good line and supporting players, as peyton would be nothing without his staff.

that being said.... i think the giants defense ROCKED and eli & toomer's sideline play!!!!!! holy sh!t what a good one!!!!!

hated them for takin out greenbay, but cheered for them the whole game. glad they got it as they deserve it 100%

Even better, they won't be showing the damn Patriots as much on ESPN now. I'll be able to watch TV again! and if they do it'll be the Patriots failing! Even Better. I agree though that play will go down as one of the greatest single plays in the super bowl. It felt like the Giants were meant to win after that.
