Smart ass thread closure comments are rediculous. Not to mention that one dumbass makes a comment and everyone has their thread shut down. Such as SpeedFeens Army thread; or the origonal houston member's thread. Just because one person mentioned driveing fast down the street you closed that thread, while the rest of us were using it to rally up houston 6gc.net members.

I may be new to the 6gc.net, but i am not new to cars, not at all sir. I offer my help and advice to anyone who needs it, or wants it. I've even helped out alot of people in the short while i've been here, and i'm not going to "bow down" to anyone just because they have a spiffy title. You had my respect as a person that knew his X-sfte engines... As a moderator; i have nothing to say.

i am NOT a god, never claimed to be, never wanted or asked to be.

im just a guy, with a car. read ANY of my threads ive started, and that is plainly obvious.

chris ASKED me to do this job, i didnt apply or campain (sorry, i cant spell either) for this.
you guys seem to think we just make this all up as we go along.
that is not the fact.
fact is, this is how CHRIS wants it, and in case any of you have forgot, chris is the one who owns this place.

I keep trying to find a tactful, MODERATE way to say this.
The problem is not with the way other people see you. The problem is with the warningless thread closures and the snide comments attached to them. Also, off-topic should be like other sites - where anything goes as long as you not being personally offensive to someone else or their car. However on the OT subject - if Chris wants it that way - it's his site - his say.
That's my take and my only complaints. I'm not trying to say you think you are a god.
BTW - I myself meant no personal offense to you. I don't attack people on the internet.

So can we settle with a few warnings opposed to *BAM* and our thread is closed? Members will be willing to edit their threads; just so long as they relize that they have Offended you unintentionally.

I think he meant new ideas like maybe not writing anythign when you close a thread except for stating a rule that was broken then locking.

The only thing that I agree on in here is the HID sale thread. There's no need for a monopoly on HID kits, they aren't an official vendor.

Other than that, this site is what it is. If you want ridiculousness go to Celicatech OT and start a thread from where* your posting from and laugh your ass off.

if you have a problem with the rules then contact the person who made the rules, not the people enforcing them.

Just so I'm clear, you don't like the rules of the site and one moderator (who the owner of the site chose to be a moderator), correct ?

I think you're mad because the dumb pointless posts that you and your friends make are getting closed/deleted. Solution : stop posting dumb pointless crap.

I'm not even sure how some thread have a broken rule. And i'm speaking for other members on this topic. I have yet to have a conversation with Pressure2, just "Feel his thread closure wrath" lol.

But for a matter of fact i have read the comments, i have seen a few threads like that...

I just dont have time to surf em down here at work, and i would rather not keep this going. If we could just get a few yellow lights; because alot of us dont realize that we've offended someone. ive made comments about myself that has offended this moderator. WTF?

I just think a chance to let people correct themselfs would be nicer than a smart ass coment and locking the thread.

No - actually, as I explained at length above, I have no problem with him as a person. I also understand the OT rules and if that's the way they are - then that's the way they are. I can live with that.

It's the snide comments and lack of warning when someone breaks a rule and instant thread closure.

yeah, i'm a new Member but i've been in several thread closings already, and NEW OR NOT it's still frustrating. I dont like people to treat me or any others like that because someone wants to be a duffus. Yeah, like that other comment on page one "lolwrawsal" or whatever he was typing, Yes, that was stupid and uncalled for.

Not making fun of anyone, but that was a prime example of the dumb things that people say, then our much needed threads get closed.
