i think delorians are funny. They are Bricklin concepts. My dad is obsest with Bricklins and knows the whole story of them. The Delorian is actually the first prototype of the Bricklin that the Bricklin designer didnt want, and when Bricklin went under, Delorian came along, asked for the design of the Bricklin so he could keep producing them, but instead of gettin the latest style bricklin, he got the first prototype plans. So pretty much the Delorian is a bad prototype.

bad prototype? no way....it was a lemon, but only beacause it was made in europe by a bunch of people who couldn't make cars

the styling of the delorean screams 80's, way better than 70's look of that bricklin.

maybe, just maybe, if back to the future was filmed 5 years earlier, they would have used a bricklin. but the delorean looks far better and it sounds better too, lol.

not to mention the sexy stainless steel body beats acrylic any day

a few weeks ago I passed by one at a dealership, was sitting right our frunt with the doors open and everything, I turned around and pulled in, it was black in perfect shape and they wanted 18k. looks wise there pretty cool, there far from safe at any speed though. It would be cool if someone came out with a modern one. but if you really look closly a 350z is pretty close minus the rear engine and doors.

Made in Europe?? Bricklins were made in a Barn in a small town about 45 min outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. And the Deloreans were made in the states.
