Anyone know of any good maacos in manitoba/saskatchewan? I got quotes from all the local body shops and they were all over $3000 which i can't afford. I have seen some very nice paintjobs on this site that were done at maaco for less than $2000. I know the maaco basecoat/clearcoat is $1299 and then you can pay for extras if you wish.
Right now the car is the stock red. I am thinking of going with some kind of a metallic red. I figure i WON'T get the bay, inside of hood, door jams, and inside of trunk painted because sure they will be a different shade of red but no ones really gonna notice. My friend has already lightly sanded the car.

So do i basically just take it there and remove the bumpers, headlights, taillights, mirrors, sidemarkers, mudguards, doorhandles (anything else?) while i am there?

I will ask to see some of their base/clear coat jobs to see if they are nice but i'd like to know if anyone knows anything about the maacos around manitoba.

How does this all sound?
