This is why I stopped planning these events for 6gc's only - there's always some BS. Other car owners rarely have these problems or if they do then they say "I can't go to the .... But I'll meet up with you guys for the rest of the meet' - simple. No reason to make it a bigger problem. Ya'll wanna go to a park in schulenburg or wherever I'll be there.

I’m not much for the track idea but the location looks alright to me. Like you mentioned the track would just be an optional thing to take place after the meet.

you guys talk about going to a park and going camping in a place somewhere in the middle right
i think bastrop is in the middle, we could camp there and everything... wait its like i have said this before
we had plans to go to a statepark, cook hang out drink and some canyon driving, yet the houston guys bailed and 2 months later wanta start up a new thread the same way?
count me out have fun whatever you guys do i know it will end up falling apart and you guys making a meet in Houston AGAIN.

I've been reading thru trying to find the date to see if I can make it. As far as death and d-man racing every friday in baytown they have open track import verses domestic. So it would be nice to see one of you rep a 6gc. Any way the sealy track isn't far from where I work. I don't know exactly how far away my wife will allow me to go being I am the cook here at home she pays the bills lol (no smart remarks lol ) anyway I'll read thru again and find out. I still wanna meet the houston crew.

Man im sick of you Spolski. You must not have a single bit of responsibility in your life. Me nor anyone else from Houston is going through this with you again. GET OVER IT! If you think we are all just a bunch of screw offs then DONT POST IN THESE MEET THREADS! GO AWAY! or shut up. All we are trying to do is put together a meet that would be a one day thing so no one has to worry about spending money on Hotels, or anything else but gas. We thought this would make things easier for everyone and more people would be able to make it if it was just a one day thing. And we ALL CAN! but you guys are the ones that are having a PROBLEM! And before you go off on a (you guys were the ones that had problems last time) crap. We had money problems, Car not running right problems, loss of job problems and LIFE PROBLEMS! you are crying about the distance and how Houston is just going to skip out anyways. If the distance if a problem COME UP WITH A DIFFERENT PLACE! if you think we are all going to ditch, if your only bassing that opinion on what happen last time, im sorry life got in the way for a lot of us, i really am, Swear to what every created this world im sorry for most of us having to bail. TRUST ME, it sucked a lot more for us then it did for you. But it did. Nothing we could do about it, and it happens, and anyone with responsibilites knows that Sh!t happens to keep you from doing things you want to do. SO GET OVER IT!

So. If no one is happy with what Houston is trying to set up, then you tell us what is half way and what you guys are willing to do. The date is set for the 7th of June. Everyone said that they where good with that date. Forget Camping. Forget Track. forget all the past suggestions. If you dont want to go because its only a day and its not worth it to you, THEN DONT!

For the people that would like to meet for a day somewhere what is half way? Bastrop? if you want to get down to it thats closer to Austin. Schulenburg is right in the Middle. for everyone but Dallas people but i dont think we have anyone from Dallas wanting to go. So thats whats in the Middle. thats whats far for everyone. However if you have a better place that would be more fun for just a day meet that everyone is willing to drive to post it.

We are talking about Meeting half way between SA, Houston, and Austin. you guys might want to look at where Jared95 is comeing from, and hes been down for this meet from the get go as fare as i can tell, and he live in LUFKIN!

I'm down so as far as I can tell. Hopefully **** won't happen and I can make it. And d-man I am no longer supervisor at my job I am officially running it so if you would like to get those fellas who want to do a lil glass work together on the week end let me know my place is in brookshire though.

yeah Jarad95 come down for less than 3 hours when we met up in bastrop. its all anout is it worth it FOR YOU.

That being said. lets calm down, we cant have a meet with flames between us. common this is TEXAS. we have a little bit of everything, we can fine something fun.
like what Zero and I found in bastrop. that hilly/curvy road and the cliff/scenic view. everyone seemed to enjoy that and we got a few good pictures.

I think we should look around for a tuner show i know there is one coming up in houston... meet up during the day chill eat bullsh:t around until the show then roll in and check out some other cars .....
