I rather stick to the Covina location. Although the Stanton location is bigger and nicer, I still prefer the Covina location because we aren't going to be spending all day at the store anyways. The traffic isn't as bad in Covina as it is in Stanton so we will spend less time on the road. Everytime I have been to the Stanton location, I get stuck in traffic on Beach Blvd. I'm not saying it's a bad location, but for a meeting spot, I rather go to the Covina one. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not feeling either of those locations very much. Yeah it's a "car theme meeting spot". But there's not really much to do in either of those areas and both locations seem out of the way for many members.

So other than the meeting spot, what else do you have planned for this meet?

Usually this plan would work, however, taking gas prices into consideration, there are going to be members who would like to keep driving to a minimum. This will cause members to drop out of the meet, or not attend at all in the first place.

Maskedman (is your name Derrick?), what's up with the HID kit man? Are we going to be able to do this on the 5th? I'll send you the money June 2nd plus paypal fees or C.O.D. biggrin.gif

PayPal isn't so bad I suppose. I am still unsure as to the temp or bulb type you like. I am aware you want them for your Celica, but I wasn't sure if they are for Factory headlights or the JDM projectors. Cash on delivery is cool too, but then I would have to be there at the same time you are at Jeffs house. Hmm I think I would have to charge a delivery fee don't you think? Cause I mean, he does live nearly an hour away from my house.. hahaha. But just let me know what color temp and w/e you want and I'll get it for you. I'll have to go to Jeff's house eventually, so let me know what time you are going to be there. (And i kind of forgot where Jeff lives :x).

Will do. However, at the current pace this meet is going, it looks as though it will not take place until after I have already relocated. I would host a meet myself, but my time schedule is already limited, so I will not have time to organize everything. I still have yet to take full advantage of the new larger PM inbox though, so that should help a lot when organizing large meets. I am quite fond of the "Marco Meet" theme, on the other hand, I understand it is very much out of the way for many of the SoCal members. Trying to calculate the distance willing to be traveled by a member is based upon the rarity and events taking place at a meet. If we have a Marco meet every month, and do the same thing, then those meets will be sought after less and less because people will just hope to attend the next one. But meets such as the Chino Hills meet, will attract people from greater distances due to the size and because it is only held once a year. Although the Chino Hills meet is believed to be the largest Celica meet of the year in the US, I still feel like there could be more to do at those meets. People spend all day (literally ALL DAY) in a parking lot. I'm not exactly sure what attracts the 6gc guys to attend. It's not like we conversate with the 7th gen guys much, and it's not exactly like they include the 6gc guys as part of the meet. Wow that was pointless. I got lost in thought again, alright well, w/e the host chooses is where the meet is going to be at. IGTWN Idk what this acronym thing does, but I thought I'd try it out.

Sure, just let me know what kind of delivery fee we are talking here so I can add that into my other expenses paying Jeff for the work, gas, and other things. I am not too good with HIDs, so whatever bulbs are perfect for the projectors I bought off of him, which I believe he has on the FS Projectors listing in the buying and selling section, and the brightest light that will let me see the best. I sent you my number, so if any other questions call me or text me.

Just nothing too crazy for delivery okay? Job ends June 2nd due to a chapter 11. If there is an easier way, like I pick them up before I go to Jeff's, that could be arranged as well.

Oh and if you call today, I don't have my phone on me. Forgot it at home and I will be off work at 8pm, so after 8:30 or so I can be at home can get my phone. And if it is going to end up costing me $200 total, I might as well find a way to get them locally here.

The transportation job will be as follows.

I will be delivering 1 package weighing 1.2 kilos. Total vehicle weight will be 1311.36 kilos
I will be delivering the package a distance of 28.58 miles to the drop point and 29.83 miles for the return trip.
The drop of date is 6-5-08 in Torrance
No names.
The amount of fuel to be used will be 10.73 liters total.

I will do the job for $10 cash. The package will cost $140, making your total payment $150 cash on delivery. Rule number 3 is to never open the package. But the package will consist of 1 HID set. Details are H1 bulb, 4300k temp, white in color. Do we have ourselves a deal?

I'll tell you what. (again I do not know) If 4300k (which I am sure it is) is in fact the brightest color temp then yes for sure. Also I know it isn't much extra, but let's go ahead and make it an even $160. You have yourself a deal my friend! :-D
