Just wondering if anybody here does frequently or has ever been disc golfing?

ITs pretty much golf, but with a disc (kinda like a frisbe, but it isn't)

YOu have tee pads, par, fairways, hazards, and pins... only instead of hitting a ball into a little cup you are throwing a disc into basket...

ITs awesome, just thought i'd see if anyone here has done it or played any really good courses, i finally unpacked all my gear today since the weather is looking like it will be good now i can get back into playing:)

I play atleast once a week at a local park by me (only 10 mintutes away). It has 18 holes, fairly nice course. I always find disc's in the tall grass though which makes it going even better. You have gear? I just bring my long distance driver and my putter and i'm set.

you can actually buy your own tee and make your own type of course. But it would require moving the tee after each "hole"

Ya i got a whole bag:) three putters, two long range drivers, (really three i guess) and then like 5-7 drivers, a few speciality ones, then about 8 junk ones i let my friends play with and lose:) lol

Ya i used to play all the time, but got to busy and walked away from my circle of disc golf friends, but i just moved and figured it would be a perfect time to pick it back up again:)

Clearly it was cause i got my 5th ace on, get this, the 5th hole of the course! I was loving it:) it is my second Valkryie with two aces on them each;) i love those things:)

My old friend had his own basket and we would set it up everywhere all over his property or in our friends house:) that was fun, we had cops called on us three times for being too loud, they were dumbfounded when they saw three sober guys playing some disc golf inside his house:) LOL

At our discgolf course, you pretty much have a contact high within the first 5 minutes. Everyone just blatantly smokes weed right there out in the open

laugh.gif Ya up here in the northwest thatis kinda what every does, playing disc golf or not...

But sadly when the 70's ended all the hippies migrated over here, so just about 60-70 percent of everyone that plays disc golf up here is a hippie, it kinda sucks... alot

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Everyday i go i atleast smell someone smoking up in the woods or just right in front of us.... Kinda gets old. The park threatened to take away 8 holes because of this.

Guy I know has a course on his ranch [That's right I said it - I know a guy with a ranch]. Played many times there from early ages on up [so sober and not-so-sober - great beer drinking game for adults].
Cool game.
