Talk to this man - he will make your wiring a whole lot easier and he'll do the whole swap for a good price and done properly at a professional swap shop:

Thanks for the plug wink.gif

http://www.phoenixtuning.com/toyota/swaps/richard.html

That should help you out. Basically the engine bolts in if you use a 4AGE flywheels, clutch kit, and your stock tranny.

Generally speaking you want to make sure that you get it with your engine set.

You can use the stock tranny, you need a 4AGE flywheel and a high performance clutch kit (I have these).

A/C can work just like stock but you need custom a/c lines made.

I REALLY want to do this swap too. Anyone dyno'd one yet? Interested to see what kind of power it makes after the swap.

probably about the same as it makes in the MR-2 or Levin, depending on what you're stealing it from. so like they're rated for 145 - 165 hp. So expect slightly less than that.

I'm also interested in this, but as a platform for a turbo since it can handle a fair amount of boost.

Isnt there a 180 or 200hp 4AGZE? Saw some guy from Europe on Youtube with a 200hp 4AGZE Corolla. Maybe he had modded it a bit.

Save your $$ up and send your car to Doc for this. You won't regret it and you can be confident that it'll be done right and tuned to the best it can possibly be tuned (within the confines of your dollar of course)

The 4agze is the swap I'd do if I were able to do a swap. OMG that would make me a happy camper!

hahaha I want to do the 4a-gze but I think I want to do it myself. I just enjoy messing around with **** like this, hell if I pursued mechanics like I was thinking of in highschool, I would probably open a shop up here. (probably to no success.. East coast scene is all about show.)

I would probably send the wiring to doc though, since I don't want to mess that stuff up on my first swap. I don't feel confident about my electrical skills anymore since I can't get my DIY distortion pedal to work :'(
