Try testing the black and yellow wires at your ECU. One of them is the tach wire.

I know for sure that one of the wires is the tach wire, and on my car it was black and yellow. Just test the black and yellow wires with a multimeter on AC mode, and the wire should put out between one and six volts. As you rev the engine, the volts will go up accordingly. Once you find that wire, that is the tach wire. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Sweet, driving dad's ride right now though, new brakes and rotors coming, at girlie friends house 3 hrs away, but soon I'll try to figure the wiring out prob. next week sometime, and let you guys know what I found.

Not really involved in the original question... but i've been wondering...
The wiring for the Apexi S-AFC (4agze ae101 w/ map) says there are 2 Rev wires, and there's only one connection on the S-AFC for the rev? Does that mean i connect both the rev wires to the one wire on the Apexi? Iono... just wondering... -Ryan -------------------- AIM : FAQdaWorld
