Is there a way to keep the rubber insulation for the headlights from coming out. I'm always fixing them. I tuck them in pretty tight, then after driving around I have to always push them back in. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I have that problem too with my headlights.

I'm modifying my newly bought JDM headlights and noticed that the rubber insulation was glued on the side of the glass.

Maybe you can use glue or kit.

There are clips that hold the headlight lens to the housing.. although i don't think they're absolutely necessary so i relocated some of the clips and made it so they clamp the rubber seal to the housing instead. Also, just to be safe I used strong glue to hold it in in case these clips were to come off (which they tend to btw). For this, you'd of course need to take your bumper off to get to the headlights which is extra work kindasad.gif.

Take off the rubber, apply clear silicone and this should stop the slippage for a few months. It will go back to what it is now because the bonnet, fenders and the bumper shake while you drive causing the rubber to slip off. e-11 corollas have the same problem.

I had to laugh out loud when I saw this thread, because I'm constantly tucking in my passenger side rubber "seal" and there are no words to describe the sheer aggravation it causes me. I'm OCD enough as it is without some damn rubber circle constantly rearing its obnoxious-ass self at me... mocking me, day in and day out... laugh.gif

Oh but I'll get the last laugh yet. You wait little rubber seal, victory shall be mine! Muwahahahaha
