and id like to know what u guys listen to

depends on what you consider hardcore, but i'm a rock/metal fan myself. HEAVY metal and industrial are the faves though.

hardcore to me is kids like us, know the score, etc...

Reggae, rock, hiphop, rap, some easy listening (along the lines of Sinatra), few 80's, techno, dance, trance.

Underground hiphop, ska, 80s and occasional rock (like pantera, megadeth, Henry Rollins) in that order

I used to be in college for music (Classical Guitar) so I'm used to taking in about 6 hours of music a day but I'm running out of music to listen to. :'(

I have a similar question, its not exactly about music preference, its a bit more related to a single album. Did Metallica's 'St. Anger' ruin anybody else's perception of metal? Everyone I know has the same opinion about how that album ruined metal but I think it might just be a local thing.

The Faint and Daft Punk are amazing.

From time to time i enjoy a bit of alternative rock & sometimes even a bit of rap on the radio, but don't own CD's or anything. I giggle and have fun when i hear a good 80's jam. lol. I was rock'n "Major Tom" this morning on the way to work

I wouldn't say it [or they] ruined metal as a whole but I have to say it goes farther back than that - Their "Black" album was the final nail in the coffin IMO - totally manufactured POS hit dispenser. It wasn't just them tho. Metal wasn't and hasn't grown since those days.
