Would anyone be interested in an oregon celi meet. I dont own a 6th gen but im really trying to get a nicely established celi meet here in oregon that i want to do annually. Let me know if your interested and where your located so i can try to pick a central location that is easy for everyone to get to.

If your looking for a good turn out, I'd suggest somewhere a little more north so some of us WA members can meet up too... I think Tacoma was a great place to meet last year, but anywhere N. OR or S. WA would be your best bet imo.

Yeah Tacoma was a good place because it's spitting distance from Seattle! LOL

I'm game too... but let's do it when the weather is (consistently) better IMO. Personally however I think the coast would be a great location! Maybe Astoria? That's more North for you WA folk! IDK

Tacoma is not the best place to get anyone from orgeon to show up. me and griff were the only two who drove up there last time.

good luck trying to get this together, I have tried to get meets together around vancouver, portland area before and everyone bailed... Astoria doesn't sound to bad...

The biggest problem is celicas per square mile, the northwest is big and the amount
of cars are limited, to get 10 cars at a meet chances are 5 are going to have a 3 hr
or more drive one way. I am 3 1/2 from seattle and 4 from portland so one day meets
are not so much fun, 7 or 8 hrs driving for a few hour meet kind of kills it for me.

^ That's true, cause we have members ALL over WA and OR. There aren't a majority of people in one area, it's spread widely throughout both states. What's a convenient 1/2 hour drive for 1 or 2 people will be a few+ hrs for many others.

I think that's a great idea too! I vote for somewhere on the coast still - staying at a hotel inland is lame! laugh.gif But a weekend at the beach would be great. And for those of you w/significant others, it's a great excuse to get them to come along so they're not upset about yet another weekend lost to our car obsession.

That is exactly why i love the coast i literaly live 15 minutes if not shorter from the beach depending on traffic lol. The beach here is simply magnificent, stunningly beautiful. for those of you with myspace here is a link to my profile. Its set to public so feel free to look around i have plenty of pictures of the beach myself and of course my serika!
