hey im from idaho and i would want to go to the coast! i would highly consider making the 7-8 hour trip, and thats making time.

Sounds great now we just need a date. and if we are making this kind of an over the weekend thing maybe a few motels that are local maybe a few bars aswell lol this just may be a fun time as long as it doesnt rain.

but i do agree about the date, we need to do this! and place. ill start looking into nice places for cruisin and pics!

If you guys want to be on the coast, one place I always enjoy to go to is Ocean Shores...Just outside of the town, there are alot of nice twisty and wide open roads. It's a small town, but pretty nice. They even have a go-cart track.

As for a date, I think it should be a weekend in June/July/August (summer) because there are better chances for nice weather.

That would be alot of fun i dont think i have ever been there. so id need some help getting it organized summer sounds like a plan to me. I would say we could do it here and i could show you guys all my favorite roads and photo opps we have the casino here and plenty of bars lol for those of us whom are 21 or older there is also cheap hotels here and most everything is right off the main drag. I think the go cart thing would be alot of fun though.

Not sure where in idaho you live but its a 7-8 hour drive just to Portland(make the trek more tha half a dozen times) and then another hour to 2 hours to the beach depending on which coast we go to... Just so ya know

I could help with planning if people seemed interested in Ocean Shores. Been there enouph that I know it pretty well. lmk

Ok so lets start to work out details what month do we want to hold this meet do we want to do a one day meet or make a weekend of it? Maybe we should make a poll so we can let everyone decide. Im sure i could snag some guys from newcelica.org too.

I think

1. prefered month (choices being: May, June, July, August, September)
2. how many days (choices: 1,2,3) because we could do a 1 day meet, a Sat and Sunday meet or a Friday,Sat, Sunday meet
3. prefered place (choices: Ocean Shores, some other place, some other place....I can't think of anywhere else that'd be good right now lol, but I know there are other ideas floating around in this thread for a place)

There is definately more to do at Ocean Shores than just the go-karts...ATVs, arcade (I know, sort of kiddish), you can rent mopeds, bikes and I think motorcycles. But don't quote me on that last one. Of course just cruising around (with the coast right by you most of the time).

If you could set a new post with the poll that would be awesome im still learning these forumms
