hey can anyone tell me the dimensions for a coupe trd wing? im think about makin one soon for the tangerine

What kind of measurements would you like?

length width height. etc. basically every measurment i would need to make a mold for it

So, you're planning to make a mold for the TRD wing only using measurements? That sounds like it's going to be a lot of work even if I give you length, height and width. But if you think you can do it, then I'll get you the measurements tomorrow. It's going to require A LOT of measurements. The total width changes from bottom to top, and so does the length/depth. So it's going to take some time. How did you want me to measure the center part of spoiler? Just straight across or did you want me to measure the curve, angle, and thickness too?

i need everything. any measurement u can think of lol

Less headache and more accurate just to buy a replica or original.

im looking to save money haha. and i got time to take my time and to look perfect

Ok, I'll see what I can do for you... time to get out the micrometer and record thousands of measurements at every point. I'm only doing this because I'm very interested in seeing how you go about this project. Now that you said you are going to do this, you better not give in and just buy a spoiler! Or else I'll never help anyone in the 6gc.net community ever again hahaha.

how is the trd assembled anyway? any hole or screws ill need to know how far they are from the sides and sh!t

Andrew, you are WRONG. TRD spoiler is 5 pieces. It has covers for the sides to cover up the bolts for the center piece. Do research before posting please . haha jk.

But seriously, the TRD spoiler is 5 pieces. Two sides, two covers and the center. The center is held on by 2 bolts on each side. For each side, there is a cover to hide these bolts. They are held on by 2 screws each. The spoiler bolts onto the trunk lid with 6 bolts (3 on each post), although I think I only used 4 as I didn't want to drill that many holes and it holds on just as well in my opinion. As far as I remember, the holes weren't very close to the sides, they were quite centered and about 3 inches apart from each other.

haha andrew idk man. i gotta see how one goes 1st. if i do a good job on it then maybe ill make 3 or 4 more and sell. but i wont be makin mass quantities

you wont be saving money by trying to make one.....

and hows that?

prolly cause the materials to make one properly will cost about as much as buying one.

thats what im guessing but thats why im doing it as a senior project for school. we have a sh!ton of fiberglass and all the materials i will need. so it wont cost much at all

resin
sandpaper
bondo
mold release
foam for molds
random things that are needed

its a serious amount of time and materials, you'll probably spend twice as much to get 1/4 the quality...if you even get that far

my shop has all of that. you do know that all your doing is making it easier for me to prove u wrong right? Its just a senior project. i have the time. and i have the materials. if it turns out bad, oh well.
