I have an ST. My engine blew. Considering putting in a 3sge instead. I found a 3sge w/auto tranny and was wondering if there's any difference since my car's a manual.
Also I've been reading around and some people say it's a drop in swap and you don't need anything but the motor since it bolts up to the tranny. Then some say use the tranny from the 3sge because the ST tranny can't handle it. Then if you do that, some other things have to be done.... So... what's the minimum necessary to swap while being safe? And would I need the wiring harness etc from the 3sge? Thanks |
