Hi there,

I just ordered a set of white faced gauges for my Celi but just remembered that our cluster needles are white too! Lol! So any suggestions about what can I do? Paint them? I've check on the internet for replacement needles and I didn't found anything (yet).

I also think about sticking a litle colored stripes over'em, but it's pretty tricky, since they are small enough.

If anybody have a link for replacement needles or any idea, plz let me know.

i have white guages and white needles and i can clearly see the needles and the needles dont evan light up at night

Oké thanx, I'll try it like that, a friend of mine also suggested using night shade, maybe I'll take his idea.

You can get paint for stained glass at a crafts store and paint them. Just be gentle so you don't break the springs behind your needles, and use a few coats because when they light up they'll be lighter. I painted mine red.

Thick red sharpie works good too, just remember don't go back and forth with it but rather paint the whole needle in one swing from the middle to the tip.

BTW Griffy I am considering buying the exact gauges overlay for my car. How far is that shade of the blue on the picture from reality?

Here is the kit I ordered, with blue needles from the detailer:


I know the look is not hi-tech, but I wanted to have as close as the original. The only ones that I found with km/h readings!

The real blue is actually much bluer than in the photo. It's not a cobalt blue though, it's more of a very deep blue with a tinge of greenish.

Here's a color-corrected version that shows the blue a little more closely to what it actually looks like. Of course the rest of the image looks like crap now, so just use this as a guideline for the blue. And remember that what you see on your monitor isn't necessarily what I see on mine; on mine, it matches pretty closely though.

I'll try it that way a few times, and if I dont like the white needles I'll paint them with stained glass paint, as GriffGirl suggested.

Hey did the white gauge cover came with it's own blue lights or do I have replace my original lights?
