Making me wanna go out and rally or autox. Assuming you guys had a blast, 2nd and 3rd in 2wd? How many cars were there? If so I give you guys props.

Wow! Didn't even notice it, but auto ST, damn! If I were to join a similar event; keep in mind I have lowered springs, front strut bar, big 18in rims, and a CAI intake, what class would I place?

zgear, you would be put into the street modified class. in street stock you can only have a drop in air filter (no cold air or short ram intake) and a cat back exhaust, thats it. street tires, no snow, rally, or LT tires in order to stay in stock class. you can run snow tires in street mod, but no rally or LT tires and the modifications are not really limited in street mod.

oh, and there were 8 people driving in the street stock 2wd class.

After looking at these i went to the scca website and looked for rallyx in the great lakes area and i got goose egg..... It looks like so much fun, better than autox.

It looks like you got some big mud flaps on there.

That looks awesome. Some of those cars behind you in line were coming close to you during your run.

there were actually 3 cars running the course at the same time, it was crazy, but worked. i loved the length of the course compared to the size that it was last year.

swissferdi is partially correct. the mudflaps are made out of ikea cutting boards. for $5 you can make ones for all 4 corners of the car. they've held up for almost a year and the only time i broke one was when i went to montana for christmas last year and one had a chunk break off at -15 degrees (cold and plastic aren't great friends). they work well for $5 and look ok and i figure its a cheap alternative to spending around $70 for real rally mudflaps.
