for swap?

what do you want to gain.

3sgte: equals turbo, lots of power and tuning. 255hp + depending on mods

3sge: not turbo, good power, and very expensive parts... 200 hp and thats it!

is that what you need to know?

I beg to differ on 200hp as a final. But I guess if you are referring to the lack of commonly available parts then yeah 200hp is about it. I'm sure with some mods and maybe a turbo we could get more out of our beams dont you think?

I would look at the motor that you would be able to find parts for at a lower price which is the 3sgte. The Beams motor, I'm not sure what you gonna do when you need a timing belt or a water pump asap.

Well I'm not sure that anyone would need a timing belt asap cuz if it broke ur engine is pretty much done and u can get. A water pump from a 3sgTe both are available to order anytime anyway

yup, just the gasket set from a beams is like 300 dls + 5 weeks, if you break it, simply get a graytop for 1000 bucks and thats it. simpler and cheaper.

I take it back, you can make the beams do more than 200 hp, but be ready to look all over the web for mere 25 to 50 increase. not much tough. and a lot of dough
