How much do you think a N/A built 7a-fe could make? Power wise.

Also might hate me for this but i actually have a h22a laying in my garage and was wondering if anyone here or someone you have heard of has swapped a different make engine into a celica? =[] Would be kinda neat? no? I dont know just thinking.

in before the thread gets locked.

all motor 7afe has been done. The motor made 130 at the flywheel? i dont remember exact numbers is been ages since the thread was posted.

http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...428&hl=7afe

and the h22 engine swap will work just fine as long as you finda way to merge the celica wireing with the honda wireing, get honda toyota axles and manage to get motor mounts that will fit the celica, and lastly get a custom flywheel that will accept a toyota clutch.

good luck.

A built 7A... About 100hp laugh.gif

Nah, but really, don't worry about that h22. If you're gonna swap a motor, go for a 4A. It'll be a direct swap for your car, and be quite a bit more power. Or if you plan on doing something that's a little more work (but still less work than even dreaming of that h22 in your car), swap a 3S-GTE into your car. Or there's always the option of throwing a turbo on your car. There are a few good threads on that. Just prowl around the engine/transmission and forced induction threads and you'll see some good things.

Well i like being different. And i dont really wanna join the 3sgte bandwagon =] So i should really look into like a 4a-ge rather then fabbing a h22 in the celly?

Lol i just seen someone put a b18 into a mini cooper. it was pretty badass. Got me thinking.

You just "saw" a mini...
Celly = cell phone
3sgte bandwagon? Our cars are 11-16 years old, there is a reason so many swap the 3s. It works, not something crazy like a h22a that will get stomped by a 3s. And for less money as well.

A built 7afe is good for.... Becoming a built 7afte. That's it.

Just swap a 502 or something in and be super original. At least then you would be fast. And in the celica world, SUPER original.

Why not drop in a 2JZ?

That would be mad JDM.

you think one of you morons could have just directed the guy to the stickys, instead of acting like a bunch of jackasses?

::shakes head:::
responses like that make this place suck.

i'll say do it! if it works, let us know.

i saw a pic of a BMW here in this forum, swapped a 2jz in there. 2jz in an S2K. another one is a zzt23x celica w/ a 3sgte.

if you have the resources and time, do it!

7a all motor not worth the money to gain, and any motor has good potential as long as it is a good platform, you cannot compare motors sometimes but setups mostly.

I would like to see a stock h22 powered civic run in the 12's. With boost maybe it could. Do a supercharged v-6 out of a camry/solara or something.
