well everyone it was a fun ride while it lasted. My car burst into flames on I-5 just coming into tigard oregon... flames totaled the engine bay, gutted the intererior and the firemen punched several holes in the hood and fenders to get the fire completely out.

someday i will replace it but it will probably be a little while.

I will post up some pics when i can

That must have been depressing, watching them break your car to get the fire out. I'm very sorry for you. I wish you the best of luck in finding another Celica. Did your insurance cover this?

thankfully had full coverage... unfortunately, it was a brand new engine and rebuilt transmission. in the process of dealing with the insurance people now mad.gif may not get out what i have put into it in the last couple years but at least I'll get something.
